Club History

Aequus Archers was launched on 1 October 2012 by a group of coaches to actively promote and facilitate archery to all abilities. The club was set up with three sections - Junior, Senior and Disabled - catering for all archers irrespective of age, gender, ethnicity, background or circumstance.

The club works with a variety of organisations in order to promote the sport as widely as possible within the Derby area. The club works together with organisations such as Sight Support Derbyshire, The Disability Syndicate, Derby College, Derbyshire Sport and the Development Team at Archery GB.

We are an open club and actively seek growth in participation so if you wish to try the sport, without the pressure of having to join the club, you can come along to any one of our taster sessions and just have a go. All sessions are run by qualified coaches in a safe and friendly environment.
